One of the most underrated areas of Yosemite National Park, Vogelsang (German for bird song) offers spectacular high country views. Visit secluded and picturesque alpine lakes, meadows, and peaks on this four day journey that will not disappoint the intermediate nor advanced backpacker. Camping at the Tuolumne Meadows Backpacker's Campground the night before this trip is highly encouraged to acclimate to the elevation. You may stay at the Backpacker's Campground with our permit (no other reservations are necessary). *Dates are tentative based on backcountry permits, secured 6 months prior to departure.
