Aloe Vera

An evergreen perennial that grows up to two feet tall by three feet high.  These plants quickly spread when planted outdoors and grow much slower when kept indoors.   Aloe's produce yellow flowers in the summer that spike up to 35 inches tall.  This plant is toxic.

- Outdoors- full sun to partial shade

- Indoors- a south facing window or an artificial light

-Let soil dry completely before watering

- Succulent soil

- Pots made out of terracotta or clay are the best pots for aloe vera and will keep you from over watering

-Drought tolerant

- Deer resistant

- Helps purify air in homes

-Native to Arabian Peninsula
